Performance skills are designed to test the Judoka’s technical proficiency and ability to demonstrate a deeper knowledge of the application of technique and training methods which can be used to improve.
Techniques may be demonstrated:
‘on the move’
‘with standard grip and/or alternative grip’
‘with cooperative partner’
‘as combination, counter attack’
‘with transition’
as ‘light randori’
Some general examples of performance skills are below:
The Waza in its traditional form
Kuzushi and an alternative Kuzushi,
Tsukuri and an alternative Tsukuri,
Renzoku with the selected Waza as 1st attack,
Renzoku with the selected Waza as final throw,
Renraku with the selected Waza as 1st attack,
Renraku with the selected Waza as final throw,
Kaeshi using the selected Waza as a counter and also as to how the Waza may be countered, most suitable grip and an alternative grip.
Any other information such as Uchikomi drills.

De Ashi Barai into Mune Gatame with partner escaping by Bridge and Roll
Uki Goshi in to Kuzure Kesa Gatame with escape by Sit and Push
Tai Otoshi into Kesa Gatame with partner escaping by trapping the leg

Demonstrate Ju Ji Gatame transition from 2 positions
Demonstrate San Gaku turnover from 2 positions
